About

Welcome to Student Ministries at ECRC. We exist to bring students closer to Jesus by inviting them to a whole new love. We do this by doing (heart) the things Christ is passionate about, by being (soul) with Christ and others and by knowing (mind) Christ's Word. Our Student Ministries provide opportunities for outreach, community, discipleship ministry and service for all students. Meetings involve recreational activities and fellowship that include small group Bible studies, doctrinal instruction, leadership development and spiritual growth through age appropriate service/mission projects. We desire to see our youth make a life-changing connection to Jesus.

The Edge (Grades 9-12)
The Edge is designed to model what it means to love God with our heart, soul and mind AND to love others as ourselves. This will be achieved through the following:

  • The Edge meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month from 6-8:15 p.m. in the Youth Room. These meetings include small groups, a message, music, opportunities to serve, and lots of fun!
  • Events include a winter retreat, missions trips and adventure trips, community service opportunities and various fun events.

Nine: twenty three (Grades 9-12)
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me" (Luke 9:23).

Nine: twenty three is designed to help high school students reflect, refocus and refresh their heart, soul, and mind as they continue to love God and others.

  • Nine: twenty three meets EVERY WEDNESDAY. On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays we meet at a student's home from 7-9 p.m. On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays we meet in the Youth Room from 6:15-8 p.m.. This meeting includes time of reflection, prayer, Bible discussion, hanging out, singing, having fun and whatever else we come up with to help us love God and others better.  Print the 2010-2011 schedule.

Maximum Velocity (Grades 6-8)
Maximum Velocity is designed to help middle school students discover who they are in Christ and begin to understand what it means to love God and others in our current culture.

  • Maximum Velocity meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month from 6-8:15 p.m. in the Youth Room. These meetings include a band, a message, small groups, games and more!
