John Selph
Rev. John Selph is the Director of the Juvenile Justice Ministry of Metro Chicago Youth for Christ overseeing a variety of ministries. Ministry sites include Cook Co. Juvenile Detention Center, Cook Co. Sheriffs' Boot Camp, Division Six of Cook Co. Jail and Du Page Co. Juvenile Detention Home. The Aspire Center, which opened under John's leadership in 2001, offers GED prep, computer skills and jobs readiness training for youth 16 to 21. John and Karen live in Lombard, are parents to three grown children and welcomed grandchild number four in August of 2009.
