SUNDAY MORNING LIVE (formerly Church School for Youth)

Sunday morning gatherings for grades 6-12

SUNDAY MORNING LIVE meets September through May between the Sunday morning services (approximately 10:05-10:55 a.m.). Middle School (6th-8th) meet in the Lower Level West Wing Gathering Area.  The High School meets in the Youth Room.

Students are placed in "circle groups" designed to help students discuss the topic provided.  Each circle group has a teacher/facilitator to help guide discussion.  It's a fun, fast paced atmosphere that promotes fellowship and community.  Breakfast foods are provided!

 

6th-8th Grade Curriculum:

We use a three-year curriculum from Simply Youth Ministry called LIVE: Jr. High.  Topics such as God's Big Story; Discovering Who God Created Me to Be; Who is God?; The Life of Jesus...and many more topics, will be discussed in these 3 years.

9th-12th Grade Curriculum:

We use a very interactive and fast paced curriculum very similar to the Middle School, with entirely different topics, called LIVE: High School.  Year 1 will cover the "Groundwork" of Christianity, Year 2 will deal with "Character and Convictions", Year 3 will discover "Giving, Serving, and Leading", and Year 4 will cover "Having a Lasting Commitment".
