Restoration

Events and places offering quiet time with God.

Restorative Service

This service occurs twice a year, in the spring and the fall, and is intended to bring healing and balm to wounded spirits and bodies, as well as peace and calm to overscheduled, hectic lives. It is a quiet, reflective, and meditative service that includes Scripture readings, time for prayer, listening to music and communion.

A Tender Christmas
This service is offered during the holiday season and allows you to spend a few moments to reflect on your grief journey, to be with others who are hurting and to be in the presence of a loving God who gives us hope and joy even in the midst of pain.

The Upper Room
This prayer and meditation room is intended for personal and small group use throughout the day and evening. It's located on the upper level of the church in the northwest corner.

Memorial Garden and Labyrinth
The Memorial Garden is located on the northeast corner of the building. Its purpose is to help those who are going through the grieving process and to honor those who have died. The garden serves as a reminder to the rest of us that life is precious and that we are to be sensitive to those who are grieving.

The Labyrinth is located in the Memorial Garden. It is a purposeful walking path that leads to a center and then back out again. While walking this path, an individual personally, prayerfully and quietly releases worries and fears, reflects on God's nature and goodness, receives assurance of God's presence and blessing and then leaves restored to serve. It is open throughout the daylight hours in the spring, summer and fall. It can be used as a group or individually.
