Bereavement

The Bereavement Ministry exists to provide support and resources for people who are grieving the loss of someone close. Cards, phone calls and home visits during the first year are provided for the grievers.

Hannah's Heart
The Hannah's Heart Ministry exists to provide care and support for families who have experienced the death of a baby due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth or early infant death, or who are dealing with infertility issues. A home visit, phone call, keepsake box and reference and educational material are provided for these families.

New Mom
The New Mom Ministry exists to celebrate with families who experience the birth of a baby, to educate them in health issues and to give them support in this transitional time. A meal, home visit, gift bag, phone call, child care and reference and educational material are all part of the program.

Ministry to Aging Parents (MAP)
This ministry is designed to help you recognize the signs of aging, to equip you to get involved in your parent's care with an attitude of respect and to assist you to be proactive instead of reactive.

Prayer Shawl
The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to show the love of Christ to people who are hurting, sad, sick or lonely by giving them a hand-crocheted shawl that represents the love of God in a tangible way. The people who create these shawls pray for the recipients as they crochet.

Encouraging Ministry
This ministry will provide an Encourager to walk alongside you during a difficult time in your life. They will be in contact with you on a regular basis and will offer you respect, acceptance and hope.

disAbility Ministry
This ministry supports families and individuals in the congregation who have disabilities by providing child care during worship services, giving advice on how to make the physical environment disability friendly and raising the awareness and sensitivity of the congregation to the challenges of having a disability.
