Children's Worship welcomes children age 3 through 1st grade to a worship time that includes a Bible story/lesson, singing and prayer. This ministry meets during part of the Sunday morning worship services. The children attend the worship service with their families for about 20 minutes. Parents may then take their kids to the classrooms in the basement east wing (the Little Lambs wing).
Preschoolers worship by listening to Bible stories, singing, dancing, crafts and other creative play. Bible story puzzles and books are also available. Preschool children's worship continues throughout the year (including the summer) for all children who are at least three years old and not yet in kindergarten.
Kindergarten-through-1st-grade children learn about God through age-appropriate Bible stories and lessons, as well as crafts and singing. Lessons include units on the Ten Commandments, prayer, worship, the church, Advent, Easter, missions, etc. Kindergarten-through-1st-grade children's worship meets from September through May.
