Coffee Break Bible Study

A weekly Bible Study for the community.

Coffee Break Bible Study is a place where people who have never opened a Bible—as well as those who have a lot of experience—can feel comfortable to share and to learn about God and what he desires for them. Each daytime session begins with a large-group presentation, which includes the use of media, music and stories. This is followed by small group study, sharing, and prayer.  All Coffee Break leaders are devoted to helping women have a positive experience by encouraging an environment of caring and Coffee Breakdeveloping a sense of belonging.

Coffee Break is for everyone. The Wednesday evening groups are for men and women together, as well as groups for women only.

Coffee Break meets from September through April at these times:

  • Wednesday and Thursday from 9-11 a.m.
  • Wednesday afternoons from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m.

Coffee Break meets on the second floor education wing of the church.
Free childcare (ages 0-2 years) is provided for the morning sessions. Many parents also enroll their preschool children (ages 3-6 years) in Little Lambs, which meets during the same times.

During the Spring Semester, we will be doing the following studies:

  • Discover Joshua (November 16/17-February 8/9, 2012). This exciting book from the Old Testament has rich history and helps us understand more about our God.
  • Discover 1 & 2 Peter (February 15/16-April 18/19). Learn from Peter about living as a Christian in a non-Christian world.
