As the Student Ministries Director, I

  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with students and their families
  • Disciple and mentor students as they grow in their faith
  • Create and teach age-appropriate messages to middle school and high school students
  • Coordinate and plan all activities related to Youth Ministry for grades 6-12. This includes Maximum Velocity, The Edge, Nine: twenty-three, Profession of Faith, and Church School
  • Coordinate grades 6-12 Church School with the Church School Superintendant and  recruit teachers
  • Recruit, train, and empower adult and student volunteers for middle and high school student ministries
  • Delegate tasks to and supervise Associate Director of Student Ministries
  • Organize and implement missions trips, adventure trips, weekend retreats, fundraisers, and events
