Business Manager/Facility Manager, Contemporary Worship Leader


As the Business Manager/Facility Manager, I:

  • Am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building
  • Manage relationships with outside vendors and contractors
  • Review and approve expenditures
  • Assist with budget preparations
  • Meet with the Finance Committee and Senior Leadership Team to review the finances and policies of ECRC
  • Manage five staff members
  • Arrange space rentals
  • Make sure the building is open when people need it
  • Manage the calendar and room reservations
  • Make sure the temperature is comfortable
  • Ensure that all systems are operational

As the Contemporary Worship Leader, I:

  • Help plan the contemporary service each week
  • Select the music
  • Prepare music and music binders for the band and vocalists
  • Write music charts as needed
  • Rehearse the band each week
  • Schedule my volunteers (approximately 40)
  • Lead the musical portions of the service
